⚠️ Common Pitfalls
- Riding Shinkansen past Okayama by accident — the pass only covers Shin-Osaka to Okayama, beyond that you'll pay full fare
- Buying this pass when the basic Kansai Area Pass would suffice for a city-only Kansai trip
- Not using the Shinkansen or limited express trains enough to justify the ¥12,000 price
- Forgetting that the Haruka airport express is included — no need to buy a separate Haruka ticket
- Not making seat reservations for popular routes during peak season (Kinosaki, Shirahama)
- Thinking this pass covers Hiroshima — it does NOT; Okayama is the western limit
